Save the Bindi day

Its been a nice week this far, except that im quite bored waiting for Elvin the wire-man everyday. Hes quite an interesting man, one of all these funny characters of kuching... hehe.

some updating in pics taken yesterday...

the lobby is almost completely finished now. YEAH!

i made dinner for my two favourite europeans. :D

robin was very happy

we ended the night by unwrapping my new lcd-tv. i have a lcd. haha

Todays plan was to go to the immigration and say hello, smile and get my passport chopped. I said hi, but i didnt smile and my passport wasnt chopped, so the day became "save the Bindi day" which spontanesly took us to Indonesia.

i woke up at 7.30am to have coffee before ernesto and robin would come to pick me up at 8 as said the night before, but 8 turned out to be something around 10....wah wah

after immigration we paid a visit to robin and ernestos houses, i like it a lot! i will be the swedish hippo living in the pool when its done. haha

then the journey of saving Bindi began....jungle jungle along the road...

robin says Yeeeeaaaarrrrgh

this is borneo cock!

to indonesia we go

by the border i got so nervous i hardly wanted to step out of the car. the borders to indonesia are ok but these places also attracts these people who want to make money of you. and seeing me, the orang putih (white person), they thought it was their lucky day. i dont blame them but its not fun having a group of kids and men breathing in your neck at a place youve never been before and where you dont know the language and the procedure and directions... luckily robin got to go with me as long as he stayed at the malaysia side so he could cover up for me a bit. i was nervous, sweating and ignoring a bunch of people, getting lost at first... after departing malaysia border i walk to the indonesia border where i have to pay for my visa. after that iäm supposed to just go around and go the same way back, but they took me into a room where they asked me to sit down, my tummy twisted and my heart almost stopped, until this nice guy explains to me that he didnt have the chop i needed for my visa so he had asked a collegue to get it. pheeeeew. i sat there and all the officers came to speak with me, to look at my tattoos, wondering about me and talking about laws and such, that you cant usually do like me but its ok. then we laughed around for a while and we said goodbye and i said i would recommend this border to other orang putihs also. hehe.

then when going back to malaysia i run into this man i already ran into a couple of times, the border-guard, some high-ranked military officer that might be one of the cutest guys ever. haha. he was so happy to see me and wanted to take pictures with me and gave his camera to the other officer, he hugged me and kissed my cheek and acted like a school-boy. he was so happy and that joy he was expressing just made my day. he was all over the place and laughing around and the other officer tesing him. haha, i wanted to take him home with me, i really hope hes working there next time aswell. im happy i could make someones day.

me and the guard by the border Malaysia-Indonesia. haha i really want to take him home.

safe in malaysia again we had a stop in Serian for some lunch...

across the street it was signboard that said there were bullets for sale behind the shop. hahaha

ernesto ordered so much food, yummy yummy

back in kuching Bindi was tired and the boys were getting there trailer....

i went out to stretch my legs after the heavy rain

choosing paddles...

well that was my adventure today in borneo. now Bindi going to her Treehouse for some coffee. Drop by if you are in the area. oh yeah, i forgot, im on the other side of the earth... wish you guys could come though.... have a nice weekend!

Thoughts and such...

So now i've been away from sweden about two months, i miss my friends and my mom a lot. like everyday. my dear partner has been away this month so i've been feeling quite lonely in a way.

no one to talk with really except for my own thoughts. there are people around me off and on, i'm really happy i'm getting to know some people in my age around the block, they seem to be good people and once in a while i get to laugh aswell. cute boys, hee hee.

i don't know why but recently or some weeks back i started to think about what if i end up here alone... what if i go back to sweden and find all my friends married and with children... i haven't really thought about getting a family before, not that serious atleast, but now somehow im kind of wishing for it. this country has some potential men(ho ho ho) but is there anyone who could accept my way of living, my way of thinking? it is a difference between sweden and asian living, tradition, thinking.

wah wah... i love you and miss you my dear friends. pay a visit goddamnit. hehe
